Hello Tawsemaker,

Just love your site with all your toys on display. I would like to let
you know that I have bought various toys from you over the years and
they are a joy to use and receive. I have the 'Bottom Spanker' which
really is my favorite, due to it being great for otk and is even
suitable for the thighs (folks use your head here)!!! I also have your
mini oval paddle as well as the oval one with the hole - these are also
excellent and can even be used on the feet.

I also have the thick strap with the holes, this is great for the sweet
spot and for 'colouring in'. Of course, being thick it can be severe;
but in the right hands it is a delight to use and receive.

Now to the tawses. I have 2 x3 tails, one heavier and more dense than
the other and are more than comparable to the original Lochgelly. I
also have a 2 tail XH that you made for me - and this is very severe and
again more than comparable to the original Lochgelly.

For all of you who find the originals too pricey, these products of
Tawsemaker are excellent quality both in shape, weight and balance.
Especially important for those folks who enjoy hand tawsing in the
traditional Scottish type discipline as being balanced they deliver a
'true' stroke, thus hitting the target area, namely the palm instead of
the side of the hand.

praise where it is due and your craftsmanship does warrant that.

Someone recommended the 'MC Customs' website to me because I was looking for
some more corporal punishment implements. I was immediately taken with
the Oval Paddle and the Holed Spade Paddle so I bought both of them. Of
the two, my favourite is the Oval Paddle because it smacks off the
buttocks with a lovely loud crack. It's a delight and very easy to use.

I was also after a heavy strap or tawse and, after speaking to Mike, the
owner, I decided on the Glasgow strap. This is made from really dense,
heavy leather and is great fun to use; comparable to the Lochgelly
tawse. I also prefer the authentic austere look the straps have rather
than a fussy and unnecessary decoration.

I like this company and its products because they put a lot of
enthusiasm and love in the work they produce rather than the
mass-produced items available from other suppliers.

The strap is one of the most versatile correction tools available to disciplinarians. Over the years there have been many variations of the strap, such as the tawse. The beauty of the strap is that it can be used repeatedly with force, causing great discomfort to the recipient without causing any real, lasting physical damage.

I have ten or more straps and tawses each slightly different in length, weight and general design. Although it’s very easy to buy a strap, I have found that buying a good strap, which is made by someone who understands what’s required of the implement, is a different thing entirely. There are very few suppliers of good quality straps and tawses, and even less that supply them at a reasonable price. I have bought many straps and tawses from M C Customs, and have been happy with every one of them. They have all been made from high quality leather and finished to a standard that I have never seen matched on similar products from other suppliers.

I have an oval paddle, holed spade paddle, heavy strap and an XH Lochgelly tawse. The first thing that struck me was their excellent workmanship, quality and value for money. I have used all of them a great deal in my work as a disciplinarian and they continue to be amongst my favourite implements. They have stood the test of time and of countless bottoms and they are as good now as they were when I bought them. In fact they are better as their old and battered appearance from such continuous use has given them a lovely antique charm and has made them really supple. I have yet to see anything of higher quality though I have seen comparable quality but for much higher prices. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

My treasured hide paddle is so useful. Gentle slaps to the buttocks brings a lovely rosy glow very quickly. Used with a longer swing it causes some nasty bruises!! Used on the soles of the feet when a slave is in ankle suspension brings him quivering and howling into submission. It certainly stands out from my other punishment tools with it's lovely natural tan colour too. I can always spot it hanging there when I need it.

First of all, I would like to start by saying that I have received no
payment or free goods or such like from MC Customs for writing this
review. It is written honestly and only because I truly believe these
products to be the best on the market. As a professional switch and
lifestyle submissive girl of more than 10 years, as well as running busy
spanking parties and several spanking websites, good quality
disciplinary equipment is absolutely essential to my daily life. Look
no further than MC Customs! So impressed am I with this equipment I
have at least one of each of these high quality tools. I say tools
rather than toys because these are the real McCoy - no cheap and nasty
materials in sight. They last the course and never fall apart. In fact,
if anything, I suspect these paddles and tawses will outlive me, as they
improve hugely with age and frequent use instead of deteriorating like
other equipment - some which is often much more expensive and
substandard to these extremely reasonably priced, superb quality
implements. They retain the quality over the years, and if mine are all
still in excellent condition after almost daily and heavy use, then you
can guarantee they will last any player a lifetime! As I use most of
the MC Customs items on a regular basis, both on the receiving and
delivering ends, I'd like to give you my wee guide to each one to help
you decide which of these fabulous implements to add to your collection!

THE OVAL PADDLE
This is one of my personal favourites in the MCCustoms Collection. Made
of high grade leather and expertly stitched with a solid handle. This
paddle is amongst the lighter end of implements, but by no means is it a
featherweight. This paddle still packs a good wallop and is the perfect
size for most bottoms, male and female to use across the centre of the
cheeks or apply a cheek at a time without wrapping around the hip. I
have found with my own paddle that the more this paddle is used, the
better it seems to get. I have had mine over 3 years now and it is
still firm and not a bit of floppiness in sight that you often get from
substandard paddles at the handle. Though the leather has softened with
use (which is perfect). I would recommend this paddle for all levels of
spankophiles - beginner to expert as it is easy to adjust the level of
impact through strength, easy and accurate to aim for beginners.

THE HOLED SPADE PADDLE
This paddle is not for the faint-hearted! The holes in paddle offer
less air resistance, and therefore a much harder thwack on impact!
Again made from the highest quality leather and made to exceptionally
high standards. This paddle has never lost any of it's firmness at all
since I first purchased it and has retained all of it's essential
ouch-making qualities! I find this to be quite a wide paddle, and
therefore not ideal for very small bottoms - but great for everyone
else. This one is at the harder end of the scale, but can be used
moderately if required. Easy to use for beginners also, so suitable for
all.

THE TRIDENT PADDLE
The nastiest boy of the paddle collection! This baby HURTS! The same
high quality as the others, this combines the joy of a tailed tawse with
the simplicity of use in a paddle. A super combination, especially for
those less experienced in the use of the tawse as it's easy to control
and apply. It is a reasonable length, though I find this one easiest to
apply across the centre of both cheeks rather than each cheek at a time
to aviod wrapping around the hip. Any user should take care to aim this
squarely across the bottom so that the whole paddle impacts rather than
just the squared off ends. Great paddle for experienced and heavy players!

THE AMY PADDLE
Michael designed this paddle especially for my little sister, Amy. He
was dealing with her at a party and as she has a tiny bottom, noticed
that a lot of the equipment was rather on the large side for her petite
cheeks and often wrapped around her hip by less experienced spankers,
and decided that someone ought to design a paddle for little bums - so
he did! To great success too. This paddle consistently proves a firm
favourite at parties and with clients, both to receive and apply. Don't
be fooled though, it's size is small, but it's effect is much larger
than you would expect! It's firm and superbly designed and will have
the desired effect on ANY size of bottom. Because of it's size,
accuracy is guaranteed and this paddle is also ideal for tackling those
hard to reach "white bits" when creating your pink bottomed canvas!
Ideal for beginners - the easiest paddle in the collection to apply -
but this little gem is an essential. No self-respecting spanker should
be without one!

TAWSES
Forgive me for not listing all of the huge variety of tawses in the MC
Customs collection, but let me start off by saying that these tawses are
without a doubt THE BEST tawses you will ever find, ANYWHERE (and dare I
say I prefer a few of these to the original Lochgelly's!). There are so
many tawses on the market, and many of them double the prices you find
here and more - NONE, bar none, can match up to the quality of Michael's
work. (Believe me I have tried many over the years!) All of the tawses
are made with the best quality leather of different density's and
weights - though even the Medium weight really packs something behind
it, so the XH varieties are really best for heavy and very experienced
players! My personal favourite is the Two Tail Lochgelly Style Tawse,
Medium weight. The perfect length and density to achieve accuracy
whether applying to bottom or the more traditional hand punishment. It
can be used lightly for beginners (though trust me even beginners will
feel the sting of this!) but with the right technique even a medium
weight tawse like this can bring tears to the eye. I love the
reassuring thwack of these tawses which are perfectly balanced to
achieve a satisfying stroke right across both cheeks or over the palm of
a hand. I bought two of these exactly the same, from the same batch of
leather at the same time. One for personal use and one for work
(parties & website material). The one for work has been used much more
often and I actually prefer it now as this has definitely improved with
use and age! Unlike other tawses, they do not go floppy, and retain a
very good level of rigidness even after a heavy level of use. I can't
speak highly enough of any of MC Customs tawses. Everyone should own at
least one of these! Trust me, you'll never buy another tawse from
anyone else again.

STRAPS
I love these straps! Weighted the same way as the tawses, these straps
can have quite a sting, but are generally easier to take for those who
are less keen on the tawse. Although similar in length and width to the
tawse, the straps have a completely different sensation when applied. A
very satisfying and solid whack. I particularly like the rounded edge
on these straps because they cause less damage at the hands of
relatively less experienced users, and are less likely to get those
square end marks that can be caused by a tawse - though you can get some
lovely round edge imprints when used firmly. Hard to describe, but
these are just delicious to be on the receiving end of! Try it and
you'll see what I mean!

I have now purchased several implements from Michael over the years; quite a few have been made personally by him to my own specifications. All his implements are excellent quality, as they are in use most days I need them to last and not lose their effectiveness, which I can categorically state they haven’t! The workmanship that he puts into each one can be seen as soon as you open the packaging which for me goes a long way, the leather is excellent quality, the sewing superb and the overall feel of the implement in your hand is astounding.

I have sent Michael some photos of myself using the implements on other scene players, all of whom I ask prior and afterwards what their thoughts are seeing the implement then feeling it on their bottom, each one has had nothing but admiration for them. Naturally, all the implements are tested out on me before I use them on anyone else this is so I know how they feel that way can assess their pain factor plus gain knowledge of its essence and it is only fair if one is administering that they are aware of the effect it can have!

I’ve been a fan of your Amy Paddle and have been fortunate enough to use it on
the lovely lady it was originally created for, as well as many of the other
Northern Spanking girls.

Having recently found a spanking partner, I felt it was time to invest in some
quality implements of my own and ordered an Amy Paddle and a medium two-tail
tawse. They arrived in time for our latest session.

As someone very new to spanking, she was a little afraid of the leather.
However, after a dozen or so gentle swats with the paddle she loved it and
asked for more – and harder! She ended up with some rather nice red circles,
complete with stitching pattern, on her bum.

She really relished the sting it produced. After that, there was no reluctance
to try the tawse. We took it slowly and it made quite an impression, again one
she enjoyed.

In the end, though, we kept going back to the paddle and she really loves it.
I would recommend this implement to anyone. As my friend says, it’s cute but
stingy.

Dear MC Customs

I have noticed that nearly all your testimonials come from mistresses or from other users of your implements, and I am writing to add a little more from the perspective of the receiver, which is what I am. I am an extremely naughty boy who needs regular corporal punishment to keep me in line, and I receive this from Mistress Scarlet, the celebrated and beautiful and very strict Glasgow mistress. Because of my bad behaviour, she has recently started to use one of your most impressive implements on me: your ferrula. In a prolonged punishment session, she administered this both on my hands and on my bottom (all, of course - especially the last - quite bare). It is nicely finished in tan (an appropriate name in more than one sense) and is stunningly effective on the hands, reminding me vividly of my school days (I went to a Jesuit school, where I received it regularly): it has exactly that special numbing effect that I remember. The Jesuits were not allowed to administer the ferrula on the bottom - even clothed - and it was therefore a matter of great excitement for me to experience this variation in method for the first time. I can only say that it exceeded expectations, especially as used with such finesse by Mistress Scarlet. It's a sensational punishment tool, and I shall have to improve my behaviour, ... just a little. Meanwhile many congratulations.

	Dear MC Customs I have noticed that nearly all your testimonials come from mistresses or from other users of your implements, and I am writing to add a little more from the perspective of the receiver, which is what I am. I am an extremely naughty boy who needs regular corporal punishment to keep me in line, and I receive this from Mistress Scarlet, the celebrated and beautiful and very strict Glasgow mistress. Because of my bad behaviour, she has recently started to use one of your most impressive implements on me: your ferrula. In a prolonged punishment session, she administered this both on my hands and on my bottom (all, of course - especially the last - quite bare). It is nicely finished in tan (an appropriate name in more than one sense) and is stunningly effective on the hands, reminding me vividly of my school days (I went to a Jesuit school, where I received it regularly): it has exactly that special numbing effect that I remember. The Jesuits were not allowed to administer the ferrula on the bottom - even clothed - and it was therefore a matter of great excitement for me to experience this variation in method for the first time. I can only say that it exceeded expectations, especially as used with such finesse by Mistress Scarlet. It's a sensational punishment tool, and I shall have to improve my behaviour, ... just a little. Meanwhile many congratulations.
